Overseas Training・Study Abroad・Education Service ｜ Offering babysitter, childcare center, childcare support, and visiting elderly care service

In partnership with Norland College in England, Poppins offers 3-week-long study abroad childcare programs.

Norland College is a prestigious college founded in 1892 in England with a
goal to develop educational babysitters (nannies) for the children of
European royal and upper class families. The school is currently located in
a city called Bath in the west of London. Many students gather here from all
over the world to study in this top-ranked early childhood education
program.

The founder Mrs. Emily Ward implemented innovative
childcare methods that were unheard of in European childcare and early
childhood education at that time. These methods focused on developing
independence and self-confidence in children.

In 1994, Norland College designed the one-year International Diploma Course
for Poppins Corporation. In 2008, we jointly started offering the intensive
study abroad childcare course, which enables the participants to learn
theories and practices in 3 weeks.

This 3-week-long short-term study abroad program is well suited for childcare professionals such as senior childcare providers or candidates to become center directors and want to brush up their skills for advanced careers.

You will learn the educational approach from England, a country that engaged
in establishing an early childhood educational system as a nation early on,
and theories on child psychology, development and activities. You will also
acquire working knowledge from participating in practical training at
the childcare center attached to Norland College and at kindergartens and
elementary schools in the city of Bath.
Additionally, participants will be staying with English host families who
have children and will be able to learn education and disciplines of English
families.
