Thursday afternoons at ALS Hiroo are filled with creativity, communication, and hands-on learning through our Afterschool Programmes.
Children are grouped by age so each class can provide developmentally appropriate experiences that help students grow with confidence while having fun.
ポピンズアクティブラーニングスクール広尾(ALS広尾)では、木曜日の午後にアフタースクールプログラムを開講しており、創造性、コミュニケーション、そして体験型学習に満ちあふれた時間を過ごしています。
お子様たちは年齢別にグループ分けされており、それぞれの発達段階に合わせた体験を提供することで、楽しみながら自信を持って成長できるようサポートしています。
Students under three years old join Language by Ms. Yamamoto, a Japanese language-focused class where children explore communication through songs, picture books, movement, and seasonal activities.
The class encourages children to build Japanese language skills naturally through repetition, interaction, and play in a warm and engaging environment.
Recently, students enjoyed vegetable and spring-themed stories and songs, happily participating with gestures, movements, and enthusiastic responses.
They also observed real carnations while discussing Mother’s Day themes, giving children opportunities to connect new vocabulary with real-life experiences through sensory exploration.
3歳未満のお子様は、山本先生による「言語」クラスに参加します。
このクラスは日本語に焦点を当て、歌や絵本、身体を動かすワーク、季節の活動を通じてコミュニケーションの楽しさに触れていきます。
温かくのびのびとした環境の中で、繰り返しややり取り、遊びを通じて、自然に日本語のスキルを身につけられるよう促しています。
最近では、野菜や春をテーマにした絵本や歌を楽しみ、お子様たちは身振り手振りを交えたり、元気に返事をしたりして、楽しそうに参加していました。
また、母の日のテーマに合わせて本物のカーネーションを観察し、五感を使った探求を通じて、新しい言葉と実生活の体験を結びつける機会も作りました。
Students over three years old participate in Art by Ms. Tomomi, where they are encouraged to express themselves creatively while exploring a variety of artistic techniques and materials.
In recent lessons, students experimented with printmaking by designing textured plates with different shapes before transferring their patterns onto paper using paint rollers.
They also created colorful rainy season sun catchers using translucent papers and metallic-painted raindrops, carefully assembling each piece to create beautiful designs that shine in the sunlight.
3歳以上のお子様は、トモミ先生による「アート」クラスに参加します。
ここでは、さまざまな技法や素材に触れながら、創造力を発揮して自分らしさを表現することを大切にしています。
最近のレッスンでは版画制作に挑戦し、さまざまな形の素材を使って凹凸のある版を作った後、ローラーを使ってその模様を紙に写し取りました。
また、半透明の紙とメタリック塗料で描いた雨粒を使い、色鮮やかな梅雨のサンキャッチャーも制作しました。
お子様たちは一つひとつのパーツを丁寧に組み立て、光が当たると美しく輝く素敵な作品を作り上げました。
Both classes provide children with opportunities to explore, create, and communicate in a supportive environment while developing important skills such as concentration, independence, fine motor control, and self-expression.
Through engaging, hands-on experiences, our Thursday Afterschool Programmes continue to inspire curiosity and joyful learning at ALS Hiroo.
どちらのクラスも、お子様たちが支援的な環境の中で探求し、創造し、コミュニケーションをとる機会を提供すると同時に、集中力、自立心、手先の器用さ（微細運動能力）、自己表現といった大切な力を育んでいます。

サタデートライアルレッスンのお知らせ/Discover Our School
☘️テーマ：宇宙探検 / Theme: Space Exploration ☘️
6月27日（土）のサタデートライアルレッスンでは、「宇宙探検（Space Exploration）」をテーマにしたワクワクいっぱいの冒険が待っています！
お子様たちは、宇宙飛行士や惑星、ロケット、そして宇宙の不思議について学びながら、楽しい英語体験に参加できます。
レッスンでは、歌ったり、踊ったり、英語のインタラクティブなアクティビティに参加したりしながら、宇宙に関する英単語を楽しく学びます。
お子様たちは「1日宇宙飛行士」になりきって、宇宙旅行や新しい惑星を探検いたします！
また、宇宙をテーマにしたクラフト制作も行い、自分だけの作品を作ってお持ち帰りいただけます。遊びや想像力を通して、学び・創作・探検を楽しめる素晴らしい機会です。

Get ready for an out-of-this-world adventure at our Saturday Trial Lesson on June 27th!
This month’s exciting theme is Space Exploration, where children will blast off into a fun-filled English experience all about astronauts, planets, rockets, and the wonders of space.
Students will sing, dance, and participate in interactive English activities while learning space-themed vocabulary in a joyful and supportive environment.
Children may even become “astronauts for the day” as they imagine traveling through space and exploring new planets!
We will also enjoy a hands-on craft activity where students can create their very own space-themed project to take home.
It will be a fantastic opportunity for children to learn, create, and explore through play and imagination.
