Discoveries every day! A place of learning that unleashes the potential within

Children are born brimming with curiosity and inquisitive spirit. Further swelled by the rich stimulation of daily life and interactions with others, this curiosity and inquisitiveness help children make sense of the world around them. We believe that following, accompanying, and encouraging this process is important. Children build confidence by having this process continually recognized by the adults around them, and this confidence gives them the strength to deal with setbacks, failures, and major challenges, setting them on a path of continued growth. Through our unique EduCare method, which brings out the full potential and non-cognitive skills of each child, Poppins Active Learning School provides an education that nurtures the positive mindset needed to thrive in a borderless global society.

Active learning programs

Young children learn by unconsciously analyzing their thoughts and delving deeper as they become absorbed in an activity. They become aware of the relationships between the objects around them, and learn that creating something new means carefully observing and thinking about the many elements of their surroundings.

Diverse active learning programs also encourage children to become more independent and develop the ability to solve problems on their own, while boosting creativity and critical thinking. Based on this approach, Poppins Active Learning School offers Science, Art, Music, Maths, Languages, Physical Development, and Lifesaving programs. Each one incorporates active learning content, brought together and enriched through Self-Discovery Time.

Activities in English and Japanese

Along with face-to-face communication that encourages proper eye contact, Poppins Active Learning School helps children discover their tremendous potential and thrive in global settings by facilitating focused, efficient learning of both English and Japanese through play.

Curriculums that encourage learning and development

As part of our commitment to supporting the growth of children, Poppins has developed a strong and deep connection with Norland College in the UK. From British history, culture, and learning, we have adopted an approach based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which forms part of the country’s education curriculum. EYFS is a comprehensive, standards-based framework for the learning, physical development, and care of children between the ages of three and five. We create personalized programs with an emphasis on dialogue between the school and families, including joint evaluations conducted twice a year.
