Childcare fee reduction system

 

Effective April 1st, 2023, ALS Hiroo has been officially certified as a Tokyo Metropolitan Authorized Non-Licensed Childcare Facility and a certificate has been issued. This means that parents can apply to their local ward to receive subsidies for childcare usage fees. The conditions, procedures, and required documents for receiving subsidies vary from ward to ward, so please inquire at the ward office on your own.

Azalea Fair Mommy&Me

Mommy& Me at Hiroo Plazaamp;Me

A special parent-child participatory lesson will be held at the Azalea Fair on April 15 and 16.
The two-hour class will include English circle time, dance, baby yoga, hand and foot print art, and much more by a native English teacher from ALS Hiroo, so if you are interested in bilingual school and English, please feel free to join us!

Spring Programme 2023 “Mother Nature”

Spring Programme 2023 “Mother Nature” will be held from Thursday, March 23 to Wednesday, March 29.

This time, we will welcome Mr. Norihiko Kamaya, an independent researcher and ecological surveyor of plants and animals, to help the children learn about insects, plants, and ecosystems, during the program. For Afterschool from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., we will have crafts and games related to Easter, a celebration of the arrival of Spring. Our native teachers will be staying and teaching your child for more than 6 hours so that they can learn English as if they studied abroad. Also, our Japanese nursery teacher will support you and your child in terms of language, so there is no need to worry even if you are a beginner in English. We hope you will join us this Spring and give your child an authentic experience at ALS Hiroo.

Norihiko Kamaya
Born in Shimane in 1988
Graduates of Kyoto University. Master of Arts in Human Environment Studies.
After working as a bookseller at Morioka Bookstore, he works as an ecological researcher of flora and fauna. He also researches and writes on the theme of the world uniquely experienced by living creatures.
He is in charge of the Science Class Specialist AlS and also at ALS Hiroo.He is very popular among students.

Saturday English Gym & Rhythmic Gymnastics ~Free Trial Lesson~

English gymnastics class led by Suguro Wakayama, former representative of Japan’s national gymnastics team.

Spo-mic is a popular children’s gymnastics program founded by Taku Wakayama. This program is popular at our sister school PALIS (Poppins Active Learning International School), and will finally open at ALS Hiroo in November!

English Rhythmic Gymnastics Class led by Roya Muradli, former representative of Azerbaijan in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Exercise helps stimulates the mind and body to improve creativity and fitness. If you are interested in a fun engaging program that will also incorporate natural English into gymnastics, please inquire below.

Lessons are available from November to December for a total of 6 lessons at 33,000 yen (tax included). If you are interested, please apply for the October free trial lesson.

Instructor’s Profile

①Suguro Wakayama
He has represented Japan in many international competitions and won the All Japan Gymnastics Championships three times. He also holds the three-time “All Japan Gymnastics Champion”, specializing in the floor, and won a silver medal at the 1999 All Japan Championships. He has been teaching gymnastics classes in the Active Learning Program at ALS Hiroo since its opening, and has an established reputation for early childhood gymnastics education.

②Roya Muradli
She started rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 4 in Azerbaijan, a country that strides in rhythmic gymnastics, and won many national championships. After retiring, she coached rhythmic gymnastics and taught gym classes at a nursery school, and came to Japan two years ago to study Japanese culture, which she had been interested in since childhood.
