Our Approach to Corporate Governance

The mission of our group is to support working women with the highest standard of Edu-care and elderly care services. We have been supporting working women in companies and homes for more than 30 years since our foundation under our awareness to be a leading company in the childcare industry.

Our governance model seeks to respond nimbly to social change through transparent and efficient decision-making. This way, we can create value in a sustainable fashion that stays true to our core values.
To be an ongoing force in this industry, we have to keep a pulse on social change and evolve with new services and segments that meet the needs and expectations of our stakeholders. By stakeholders, we mean our shareholders, employees, children, parents, elderly people, caregivers, business partners, local governments, and local communities.

Under this basic policy, we transitioned to being a company with an audit and supervisory committee upon receiving approval for this at our Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on March 30, 2020 to further enhance our corporate governance.

We will look to strength the supervisory functions for the execution of duties by directors. We will do this by appointing directors who are Audit & Supervisory Committee members with voting rights at meetings of the Board of Directors and outside directors with a wealth of experience in corporate management. Together with this, we will clarify the division of roles between management supervision and business execution to achieve both management transparency and mobility.
